So I decided that I’d spend this October day looking over Lightsail and seeing if it really is as good as they say it is, so far I’ve had a pleasant experience.
I’ve set up the WordPress Instance, created a Public Static IP address and connected to the instance using SSH with no issues at all, I’m using FileZilla to access files and PuTTY for SSH access.
After discovering the WordPress login details after running the following cmd in PuTTY: cat bitnami_application_password
I am now able to log in to the WordPress site and start playing around.
Now it’s time to take a look at certbot and get everything secure.
